Introduction
At the Department of Academic Research (DEISO Research), we conduct and publish non-profit and funded-based research work in international journals. At DEISO Research, we aim to contribute with our commitment for contribution to building sustainable societies, and accelerate the shift to sustainable development. We conduct research for (1) sustainable development, (2) tackling environmental and sustainability issues, (3) accelerating economic growth, (4) accelerating the transition from the traditional economy to a circular economy model, (5) participate in society welfare, (6) respond to local and global crises, and (7) take part professionally in academia.
We work on multidisciplinary research focusing on sustainability challenges. Particularly on how to figure out realistic “win-win” solutions for today’s most complex environmental and sustainable development issues. Our research framework utilizes interdisciplinary methodologies, life cycle thinking combined with Life Cycle Assessment (LCA), Social Life Cycle Assessment (S-LCA), Material Flow Analysis (MFA), Total Material Requirement (TMR), in addition to integrated approaches.
Our key focus is on Sustainable Development, Cleaner Production, Industrial Ecology, Environmental Impact Assessment, Technology Evaluation, Waste Management and Utilization, and Society.
